About
I'm Hannah Hansen, based in Palo Alto, California. I finished the HyperionDev Software Engineering Bootcamp in October 2026, where I worked through Python, SQL and databases, and front-end web development, and built a Django news platform as my capstone.
On CruzLens, a Santa Cruz County crime-data dashboard, I built the heat-map view and sourced the crime data. The hard part was connecting public datasets that were published in very different shapes into one view.
Before tech, I worked as a personal assistant and as a caregiver: researching and summarizing topics in writing, coordinating schedules and logistics, and keeping clear notes for families and staff.
The blog collects data write-ups in the same spirit: job postings, pay ranges, beach water quality, rent and local public records. Each post links to the data files behind its numbers.
